I love my button down shirts, and my favourite is DNA Groove. However, i would love to hear other people favourite shirts/shirt makers.

I couldnt tell you how much, it all depends on if you can supply the cloth or not. I think it would be around the £100 mark.

Have a look a DNA Groove, really good cloth, and mother of pearl buttons.

Just been given an original 60's Ben Sherman button down by a friend because it was too small for him! See.. Those old ones do come in handy. Wink

I Like piere cardin they are good quality and often in a sale. can't beat a ben sherman though. by the way Dean I think you can get a shirt you already own tailored for about £20.

As mentioned DNA Groove great cut and quality. Although on the more expensive side Mark Powell's pointed tab collars he does are lovely...

Not a fan of Ben Sherman - reminds me of the bad quality stuff you see in debenhams. Started out great of course copying the American button down shirts of the time but went down hill after mass production...

it's got to be DNA Groove for shirt quality and fit off the peg.

But I prefer to get tailored ones now, can pick them up for a decent price and nothing better than fitted clothing!

Mikkel Rude shirts look the mutts... But the medium is a little tight, and i know if i were to try and consume 10 pints a button would pop Very Happy But the jump to a large would drown me...

Britac Mediums fit pretty much spot on though, got some nice looking new patterns out too.

My favorite is Fred Perry. I love their button downs, much better than Ben Sherman in my opinion.

Pretty green I will agree with. Beautifully made clothing and not too badly priced considering the price of everything else on the "smart but casual" market
