    50 mph trouble

    Im getting to 50 then my scooter is either fully dieng or spluttering like mad i think carb am i correct

    Sounds like fuel starvation to me. Try swapping over the fuel cap - if the breathers blocked it can give symptoms like this

    aren't spluttering issues after 40mph+ sometimes a cdi issue?

    but jake if it was cdi why when i pull clutch in rev it abit it runs fine for a few more miles to me sounds like then fuel/carb side of things

    my plugs alright just asked the feller who fixes them by mine he said sounds cdi going that

    i cleaned all carb took tank out put a filter in pipe to stop more the crap and it is still doing this does anyone think it could be the cdi on way out?

    What about the breather on the cap? Also there's nblocking restricting the air hole on the frame is there? (i.e. the hole in the seat hinge)

    in your fuel cap you need a small hole for the fuel to flow correctly - there was a thing bout it in scootering a couple of months ago

    I drill the breather hole out to 2 to 3mm
    On px's they are microscopic

    Check the CDI the scouse way - swap it with someone elses that works, go for a blatt and if it cures it just fuck off back home with a free, working CDI
