Its loosely based on the Tsv 177. The one on the right is a 66x60 so its a 205cc

Ive no idea on out the box port timings ect. as a guess around about 125/185.

It will need a dedicated exhaust as the manifold is a proper one for a change.

Speaking of which do you know if the m1xl is getting its own pipe, they have a bolt on manifold for a slip on but it'd make sense to design a dedicated exhaust that bolts on surely

    Exactly. Tsch eh Wink

Josh, I dont class typical transfer matching as tuning so much. But also, it depends how you go about it. If you go about measuring and correcting volumes symmetrically then that could change my mind.

I dont understand why none of the other tuning kits on vespas converted to the T5 style exhaust manifold? Even most lambretta kits use that style of manifold.

I reckon it'd make sense - the slip on downpipe is a bit of a design weakspot. Plus you could clean up. If you buy the kit, you have to buy the specific pipe to match

But that fact would put a few people buying the kit as there wouldnt be many options in the way of exhaust would there?

    Re, the exhaust.
All you need is a different downpipe. This is something I have looked into, measured and drawn up. God Im sad

So you could use any PX exhaust, but using a different bolt on manifold?

Basically yes. It like on lammies. with...lets say the Franspeed. you get the choice of different exhaust fixing between the oval or circular for different cylinders. Same basic principle.

Ah makes sense. Would have thought it would really limit people wanting to buy the kit with no exhaust choice.
