    Getting rid of auto-lube.

Post by ditpBEN on Mon Dec 03, 2012 10:34 am

Right, my last engine blew up because the auto-lube failed so I've had to get hold of another one. This one has auto-lube too. I'm not taking chances so to get rid of auto-lube what exactly do I need to do? Do I just disconnect it and plug where it would usually go into the carb? Which seems to be all that has been done to a friends ex auto-lube scoot. Or is there more to it?

    Cheers for any help

Answered on fb, but thought I'd stick the answer here as well for reference...

Just chop the oil line and plug each end with a self tapping screw. You should then increase your main jet by a size to compensate for premixing
