    Just a quick note:

I'm not sure this should be answered on a public forum, nor should anything related to the removal of the steering lock or ignition. I'd suggest having a look through the Haynes manual, or if someone can answer it, please do it via PM.

    Ta

I see your point wal Wink Just if you know though, would this solve a steering lock that won't go into the 'Lock' position?

To be fair the steering lock isn't really that robust anyway. Yes, it's nice to have it working, but if you want security a lamp post and chain is your best bet

i rarely use the steering lock, when i worked in the scootershop a bike was brought in. someone had snapped the steering lock and fucked the frame just below the lock. chains and disk locks are the best. im after one of those grip locks next.

i would save the money and just buy a big massive bike chain mate i know a steering lock is alright but you can still just turn handlebars really hard and bing its off there not strong like
