What would you like to see on scooter rallies more?

Post by NorthernJordan on Sat Jan 19, 2013 5:05 am

I would like to see more gymnkhana and scooter games. They are great fun and give you something to do and watch rather than looking at the tat in the part fair or the dogey scoots in the custom show. Also, i think scooter sport like sprinting and racing would make for good day time crack. I reckon a national with either a sprinting event or a BSSO race session would be a welcome change.

Better looking birds to look at,
Un-cuntish organisers who don't care if you start racing your scoots etc
    Cheaper ale
    Less comedy mods
More only scooter rallies, fair enough not everyone can do a rally on a scoot if you take your family but if thats the case, don't go to rallies with your family, clue is in the name.

Only thing I dislike about darkside is the lack of mix of music, might do it this year if I have money.

I did strictly scooters and it wasnt exactly the best rally ever, should make it actually worth riding a scooter to a rally, I mean if you ride to a rally you wanna be rewarded with a decent weekend.

It wasn't bad, there just wasnt anything organised for it, literally turned up, monged in the sun by the scoot, read front magazine, got pissed, staggered about in the dark, woke up the next morning and rode home, should have had events or something organised for it, and more than just a burger van for catering, WOT rally was a small rally and had a burger van, fresh pizza, fish and chips, curry, the lot, cheaper drinks, felt like strictly was just a bit half arsed.

I thought that was the idea of strickly? back to basics without all the cack that you see on normal rallies nowadays?

Its been going for a few years Jake.

I'd like to see mnore incentives to ride to scooter rallies. Like at a national if you turn up on a scooter at the camp site you get a patch free or something.

But £20 quid isnt that much... It should be £50 or so. (with the exception of support vans, they should get charged a lower rate)

I dont think cars and vans should be completly banned in all honesty. I think you will only get people with the genuine reasons genuine lovers of scooters going when its expensive. Its the people who just go because its a cheap festival that anoy me.
