    right so since i have had the scooter 2 years now it has had a new front hub with matching speedo drive and cable as it used 5 speedos cables in 3 months so i change hub and speedo then it still done it but not as much but lately it has gone threw 2 cables and a few speedo drives in such short time whats the most likely problem?

    Basically the problem is they're a shit design. You can change absolutely everything, but never get them to work for more than a few weeks (my speedo's never worked, so I had to resort to working out the speed to the nearest 5mph from my engine revs)

    Unfortunately if you want a half decent/working speedo then you need one of them trail tech vapours (or similar) which work off a magnet on the wheel
