I haven't mate, but i will be in a couple of weeks.
Just take your time, take pictures of each step you do and presto should be easy.
Shaggy might know a thing or two about changing oil seals, send him a mail I'm sure he'll help you out Smile

I've done loads of oil seals, and it's a pretty easy job to do all in all, it's just a bit daunting if you've not split an engine before. I'd get a haynes manual.

Likewise you'll need the proper tools to do it:

    13mm socket & spanner
    11mm socket & spanner
    17mm socket & spanner
    19mm socket & spanner
    screwdrivers
    hammer
    drift
    torque wrench (optional, but good)
    clutch nut tool
    clutch holding tool
    flywheel removal tool
    flywheel holding tool

I'm planning on being in Preston next week, if you could sort us transport to yours and back from there, I'd be more than willing to come and sort it for you - I'd even bring me tools!

I think its looks like a good useable rally machine, i would get rid of the chrome o rack/mirrors (doesnt look right on a T5 IMO).

But the listing doesnt give much away, could you go with the white van man and look over the bike when you are there?

Get some more photos sent you, especially of the floor area. Ask if the guy would do you a video of him riding up and down the street, starting it up and using all the lights/indicators just so you can get an idea.

Maybe wally can shed any more light on things to watch out for.

The highest speed on my speedo (which i watching) was at least 112 kph which works out at 69.6 mph this was going down a slight incline and face in the speedo. I may have been slightly faster, but not clocked it. I have a sito plus on, but i don't think they offer any real performance increase on a standard T5 pipe.

You can sit all day long at around 60, which will get you where you want to go reasonably quickly and have some in reserve for overtaking. Smile
