    19?? 152l2

    Post by Matt.Clark on Tue Sep 20, 2011 4:09 am

    I'm gunna start this with a straight up confession.
    I already feel the need to justify myself...

    I'm never usually one to respray stuff, I've always had thing for some lovely Patina but I just couldn't deal with the retarded colour scheme some cretin had decided to bedeck her with prior to my ownership...

    It had a kinda nasty children's Tv vibe; we took this slightly creepy idiot off the street, took the can of special brew out of his hand and dressed him in primary colours. Now he's aesthetically attractive to children.

    Now that my rant's over I'll give you some background info;
    she's a douglas vespa 152l2; an english made VNA built between 1959 and 1961.
    I bought her for 750 english pounds and then spent the summer stripping her down and then (poorly) respraying her.
    She now looks like this;

    Nowhere near finished yet, but extra additions will be revealed as and when I see fit.
    Matt.

    It's a lot rougher in person,
    I never bothered polishing up, what with it being being a rattle can job.
    Yeah, the mini's my brother's work in progress rally machine.
    We've always had old cars knocking about.
    This was my first one;
