    lambretta j range

Post by rhyshill1 on Tue Oct 11, 2011 9:17 am

What does everyone think of the lammy j range? I personally like them, if only there was a wider range of tuning products available for them Wink I should really start building my j range in the garden and get it done. But my smallfrmae has a bigger priority Very Happy

Not much of a fan myself. Dodgy styling and small engines (might as well get a small frame vespa Laughing)

CASA lambretta do kits for the vega/lui wouldn't they fit the J range?

    They are strange looking contraptions

Cant you put a gp/sx engine in it, or does it need mods to accept it ?

Was it called 'Lavender Blue', or something like that?! Vaguely remember it. Very pretty.
Would love to get my little Lui out on the road -it's such good fun!

As for the J range, dad had one in the workshop not long back painted entirely as one union jack. Was a bit of a sight, lol. Always remind me of a Barbie scooter!

yeah that was it, with his number plate as "69 vega" (not his actual number plate - he had that made because it's un-registered)

did you have a proper look at it? the art work on the front was outstanding and the engraving on his chrome engine was superb!

Yes, the artwork was beautiful, from what I remember. John Spurgeon, wasn't it?
I'm not really a big fan of engraving, but it was very pretty. But then, I do generally have a soft spot for Vegas.

I haven't got a clue who it was lmao! and yeah i know what you mean abut engraving, i feel the same, but it was so well done and it looked the part and looked well with the whole theme of the scooter!
