This has been put on hold
Had the scoot all packed up and ready last night

but, fucking stupid event took place last night where my sister and her bf started getting harassed by her ex and causing loads of shit down the pub where they were. She called me to come and help out basically. It ended up in the pub being smashed and her ex full on being smashed in( not entirely by me btw)

Least to say i spent the night in the hospital having glass removed from my face.

It not as bad as it sound, cut my ear and little cuts round the side of my face.
Beyond a drama...this guy is such a nob tho, just makes things escalate from nothing.
Spent hours at the hospital, mainly sitting around waiting...I aint been to sleep yet
I'd of probs still took the mission this morning if it hadnt of snowed last night
Without sleep tho i guess it would be doubly dangerous

Just fucking annoying. I spent ages setting up and finishing my scooter off yesterday...Its all packed up and ready

Right split the casings after 2 hours or tapping and pulling to find the crank has come out attached to the flywheel casing.
Gonna stick it in the oven when my mams out tomorrow.

Seal int looking to great and neither is where the crank sits looks like i'll have clean it up abit with some JB weld.

considering they haven't been cleaned for years and i ride in all weather they are gonna be?
No point cleaning the casings like mad if they're gonna get mucky again after a few miles in the shitty rain.

Got a spare hour to mess around so i did!
I've come into a bit of money that i was expecting, nothing mad just £50 from a hours work. (Don't worry i aint doing any illegal stuff Wink)
Therefore, I've had decided I'm going to change all the bearings as I might aswell while am here.
So tonight i took them out Smile

I then taped up where i shall be dremeling near, the inlet etc. Even though i'm doing the barrel first.

Slow hand and everything should be swill.

Wish me luck gentlemen! DREMELING COMMENCES TOMORROW! Very Happy

    DONE MORE WORK.
None of you lot seem interested, call ya selves scooterists Wink
Right, i started the casings and as we know i blew through a little on the flyside.
Nevermind, sealed it up with instant metal and carried on.
Picture was took half way through, so i have more or less finished em now.
Did the casings in the kitchen when me mam wasn't in Very Happy

    Am I any good?

Got brave a did the barrel!
    Before.

    After.

Need some slight cleaning up, but what does everyone think?
It was more or less my first go Very Happy
If all good, gonna clean em up more tomorrow and start building the engine back up.

I am interested, I wouldn't like to try that myself... To frightened to ruin my cases...

Should have a decent motor by the end of it.

Problems can be fixed and you learn from your mistakes.
I aint amazing but i didn't pay £70 for a dremel with bits to not do stuff, not like ive done much anyway haha.
It needs a slight tidy and maybe a little bit more shape in places but we'll see what ian thinks.
I hope i've done alright Smile
