    The New Lambretta?

Post by NorthernJordan on Mon Aug 01, 2011 2:35 am

What do people think off it?

I think the front end is hideous and bulbous. If it had a proper lambretta mud guard and horncasting, maybe with a serveta lynx headset it would look quite smart.

i dont think they should have made a modern auto lammy, but i think the back of it aint to bad. but that head set makes me ill. and i cant stand the front mudguard either. would like to see one in person.

Unfortunately the entire Lambretta brand (Clothing etc) has become a huge cash cow... I don't know if most people know about Lambretta for its scootering heritage or just as a fashion label and so I'm sure the people who see it for the fashion will run out and buy one without hesitation..

Not for me though... Don't like auto's.. or poorly made 'revivals'

bang on mate! i saw some lad at sixth form with a lambretta jumper on and i went up to him and went "oh man didnt know you was into scooters" ... his response "what are you on about im not!" i was heart broken, when i realised how people just buy it without even realising what it is!

and in reference to the new lambrettas, they are hideous! they are gonig to cost around £3300 apprently, why would you pay that much money for one of them when you can get a "proper" lambretta for that kind of money and even less? i just i hope i dont see the day where these mopeds(!) become used by mods!

A GTS Has No Gears, No Foot Brake And Plastic Pannels. I Cant Imagine People Restoring GTS's In 20 Years Time.
