    Chiselspeed Advance/Retard units

Has anyone had any experience of these, or even the augusto units? I was looking looking at fitting a chiselspeed unit instead of a vespatronic ignition for my project (quattrini) and wondered what these would be like in comparison, other than saving me £200.

I've not had first hand experience with them. But I would say the m-tech unit is the most versitile over any of the units out there and even the vespa tronic as it has more setting for adjustment. I guess you understand that they help the motor run smoother and help create more power and a wider power band.

Another option is the reedspeed cdi unit, simpler to set up but not proven.
